Duplex LC SFP modules require two fiber strands: one for transmitting (TX) and one for receiving (RX). In contrast, Bidirectional (BiDi) SFP modules transmit and receive over a single fiber strand by using different wavelengths (for example, TX1310nm/RX1550nm and vice versa) using integrated Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) couplers. This allows you to double your network capacity using existing single-fiber cabling.
Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) or Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) gives real-time access to key parameters like temperature, voltage, laser bias current, transmitter power, and receiver power. It helps operators troubleshoot link issues and predict potential hardware failures before they interrupt service.
We use a rigorous compatibility coding database. Each transceiver is coded with system configuration keys corresponding to the target hardware (such as Cisco, Juniper, HP, or Arista) and tested on those original switches to confirm the EEPROM data matches host requirements, bypassing vendor lockout mechanisms.
We offer three distinct tiers: Commercial Temp (0°C to 70°C), Extended Temp (-20°C to 85°C), and Industrial Temp (-40°C to 85°C). Industrial temp models use hardened components and special thermal compounds to ensure stable signal propagation in extreme environments.
